OUR SUGGESTION
IPhone XR – If you are looking for upgrade from iPhone 6, 7,
8 and you are more into entertainment you should go for XR. With the bigger
screen as compared to SE2 this is a good device to watch videos or play games.
IPhone SE 2 – If you are an android user and looking to
upgrade to iPhone. This phone is for you, having all the latest features at unbeaten
price. Also, the phone is very handy and fits well in hand as the screen size
is smaller as compared to other latest iPhones. If you are more of a
professional person this device is for you.
Future of iPhone in India
With the outburst among China and USA, we all might be thinking that India is the next hub for the manufacturing.
Below are some details which you need to have a look on :-
"Battles along the India-China border last month have negatively
impacted iPhone production and shipments to India. Indian authorities were
blocking shipments from China into India. This left Apple iPhone components
held up at Indian ports and a lobby group representing U.S. companies in India wrote the country's commerce
minister to state that holding up shipments from China could dissuade U.S.
firms from doing business in the country.
According to Reuters, India continues to make
things difficult and is still blocking exports from China. Three sources inside
India told Reuters that because Apple contract manufacturer Foxconn cannot
receive supplies to its two factories in South India, hundreds of Foxconn
employees had no work to do this week. Apple started
manufacturing certain iPhone models in India starting with the OG iPhone
SE. It now makes newer phones like the iPhone XR in India; by
producing handsets in India, Apple is able to keep the country from imposing an
import tax on them. Keeping the price of these phones down is important to the
average Indian consumer; while it is the second-largest smartphone market in
the world, India remains a developing country and for the most part, consumers
there need to limit their phone purchases to low and mid-range models."
Can we expect any price drop in near future?
One question which is in the mind for 70% of Indians, with the new IPhone coming will there be any price drop in existing models.
Apple iPhone 11 prices are unlikely to drop this year, at least until November. Recently GST on iPhones was increased to 18%. Moreover launch of new models in September would also be the deciding factors. The best bet is buying an iPhone XR or iPhone SE, wait until September 2020.
